It is not customary to use C# to manipulate ELF binaries, but at one point we needed to do just that and found out that there was simply no good solution available. The motivation behind the ELFsharp project, a library which enables the user to read all the necessary information from an ELF file, was as simple as that.

It was recently officially announced a blog post, and is hosted simply on elfsharp.antmicro.com, where the sources can be downloaded from.

It a constantly developing project, updated as we need more functionalities for our own purposes. Its author and maintainer is Konrad Kruczyński.
