Antmicro to demo MOPED with TK1 at NVIDIA booth at Xponential 2016

Things are getting really interesting! Our recently announced partnership with NVIDIA is now taking us to the US, where Antmicro will be co-exhibiting with NVIDIA at Xponential 2016 – a world class event for the Autonomous/Unmanned Vehicles industry, taking place in New Orleans on May 2-5.
Following its successful debut at ECS in Stockholm last autumn, great press at Vehicle ICT Arena in Gothenburg and later at Embedded World in February, the automotive vision research platform MOPED will now be shown at XPONENTIAL as a great example of what can be achieved with modern embedded systems. Initially featuring the Jetson TK1 development kit with a single-camera setup, the vehicle has been further upgraded and now its autonomous sign recognition system is running on Toradex’ brand new Apalis TK1 SoM with our custom dual-camera board, showcasing the possibility to create custom hardware with NVIDIA’s TK1 for a wide range of industrial applications.
Visit us at booth 1231 to see MOPED in action. Antmicro has also been invited to give a speech on deep learning and the company’s services around that subject in a response to the growing demand for embedded intelligence in unmanned vehicles, so while at the NVIDIA booth, be sure to look out for our presentation!
