Following the joining of CHIPS Alliance last June, Antmicro will now be intensifying its involvement in the organization which has been already reflected in our recent public contributions in the field of open open FPGA IP and workflows (Fast Versatile DMA: an open, portable & vendor-neutral DMA controller, and Open source Verilog simulation with Cocotb and Verilator).

Adding Antmicro’s experience in navigating the global open source community towards RISC-V, Renode and other open design standards, as well as our long history of public contributions, Co-Founder and VP Business Development Michael Gielda has been appointed Chair of Outreach at CHIPS Alliance and will help drive the marketing, educational and community activities of the organization.
